The Indian Libre User Group Kochi ( formerly Indian Linux User Group ) was formed in 1997. Since then it has evolved itself into one of the most active Free Software ( Swathanthra Software ) Communities in India. ILUG Cochin is built on the foundation of "Freedom for Mankind". ILUG Cochin is involved in a host of activities ranging from Awareness programmes to Training and Software Development.
