You might try it with the System 7 Pro pieces (Mailbox Extension,
Catalog Extension, Catalog Manager) turned off.

I worked at Apple this summer testing what they're calling Sys 7 Pro.
I wouldn't install it on my mac unless I absolutely needed it. :)
