I just bought an usb-serial converter from Hama. If I plug it into my
NetBSD 4.0/i386 the device is recognized by the kernel:

However, when I try to use it I just can't send any data (a gps device).
I hate it to say, it works flawlessly with Win, so the adapter itself is
working.
usbdevs -v shows:

D(0x2303), Prolific Technology Inc.(0x067b), rev 4.00
There seem to be some issues with the different revisions of the device.
I found some posts with 2.02 - 3.0 and 4.0 - however as my knowledge in
this field is quite limited, I am looking for help.
Linux has some fixes
(http://www.monkey.org/openbsd/archive/misc/0410/msg01202.html) for the
driver to deal with the different revisions.
Could someone give me hint what to fix in order to this one working?
