My original use and need for this was that I has 100% of my Linux distro 
installed using pkgsrc. I didn't want to have alternative names but 
needed to use standard naming for these essential commands. Currently I 
only have one system with it so maybe not a high priority.  Creating 
links or symlinks as an option would be okay too (and always keep the 
"g" prefixed versions installed.
