Could you send me your config.lu
a? I've tested with the default config  on NetBSD quite a bit and it seems to work ok (just the usual hangs when  performing too many builds in bhyve). Others will know better if there  are specific limitations with e.g. null mounts on NetBSD, and whether  e.g. complicated nested layouts could cause hangs.

I'd recommend trying to keep your sandbox layout as simple as possible.

Am I supposed to run bob as root? Your initial message seemed to suggest
so but the example commands don't show it. Without root I got an error
message.

You'll almost certainly need to
run as root for sandboxes. I've tried  to make the architecture not specifically require root, so that you can  e.g. perform scans as a regular user, but for 99% of cases yeh it'll  need to be root to be able to mount/unmount file systems etc.

Cheers,
