This sounds like if you run "lintpkgsrc -E lintpkgsrc.cache", there
would be no output at all. That would be very strange. Can you post the
output of that command? For me, the output looks like this:

> ~ $ lintpkgsrc -E lintpkgsrc.cache
> Scan Makefiles: ___________________________________________

A few minutes later:

> ~ $ lintpkgsrc -E lintpkgsrc.cache
> Scan Makefiles: .....______________________________________
