Perry, thanks for the offer to make me a kernel, but you actually hit
the nail right on the head with your comment about Quantum drives - I
whacked in an old DEC rz25 that I've been using and sure enough, it
works fine.   I owe you a beer at Usenix if you're there and
interested.

Charles, do you want the Quantum drive in question?   It fails pretty
reliably, so it's no use to me.   I could probably return it, but if
it'll help you debug the driver, it's yours.
