I've noticed when I use the normal console driver on port-i386 that
xterm -C works just fine under X  and I can redirect console output to
an xterm. I've also noticed that under pcvt it doesn't seem to
work. Looking at the code, I see no reason at all this should be the
case. Am I crazy? It may be that I'm misdiagnosing some other problem
and that it has nothing to do with pccons vs pcvt, but any light
someone can help me shed on this would be appreciated.
