After a fresh install of 1.4_BETA, the system comes up with the
following errors:

1) ldconfig: /usr/pkg/lib: No such file or directory

If the system ships with /usr/pkg/lib in /etc/ld.so.conf, shouldn't
the directory also be included in the base system?

2) getty[XXX]: /dev/ttyE[123]: Device not configured

Why are these enabled in /etc/ttys if GENERIC doesn't support them?


It seems like a fresh install should come up without any errors, no?
