I've installed NetBSD 10.1 on my Socket 7 PC and want to use an OPTi 82C931 ISA PnP sound card with this system. I'd originally tried to load the sb driver, but then I was told to use wss instead. I compiled a cut down kernel where I'd added the card's PnP ID to isapnpdevs, and included this line in the kernel config: wss* at isapnp? [ 1.003068] isapnp0: read port 0x203 [ 1.003068] isapnp0: <OPTi Audio 16, OPTFFFF, , AUX0> not configured [ 1.003068] wss0 at isapnp0 port 0x534/4,0x380/12,0x220/16,0xe0c/4 irq 7 drq 0,0 [ 1.003068] wss0: autoconfiguration error: ad1848_probe failed [ 1.003068] isapnp0: <OPTi Audio 16, OPT0001, , Game Port> port 0x200/1 not configured [ 1.003068] isapnp0: <OPTi Audio 16, OPT0002, , MPU401> port 0x300/2 irq 7 not configured I tried configuring wss manually but it didn't work. See my thread on UnitedBSD forums: https://www.unitedbsd.com/d/1572-i-installed-netbsd-on-my-socket-7-pc-how-do-i-make-it-do-what-i-want/ And the hardware probe for this computer: https://bsd-hardware.info/?probe=7ef8c740df Thanks
