I am trying other ways of booting to get NetBSD to install on my Sparc
10 since netbooting isn't working. I got Debian to install (by
netbooting) and tried to write miniroot into the swap partition. The
netbsd kernel boots but stops with the following output:

root on sd0b dumps on sd0b
no file system for sd0 (dev 0x701)
cannot mount root, error = 79
root device (default sd0b):
