I add to that that the violet disk sledges are made of the same composite plastic. I extracted one to change a disk, it became fragile as crystal: I removed the screws and parts broke off and the rupture point show crystal like fracture lines! I glued it with cyanacrylate (not even easy) and even it did glue not very strong, at the slightest touch it would breake a couple of mm near the glue point, so it is completely degenerated.
