Hi,

as mentioned elsewhere, I built
quite some packages, one is ghostscript,  always useful (and dependency of many).

legolas: {23} gs
GPL Ghostscript 10.05.1 (2025-04-29)

Bus error

Window comes up briefly, then dies.
What does gdb say?

Program received signal SIGILL, Illegal instruction.
0xeadc62b4 in _sparcv9_vis1_probe () from /usr/lib/libcrypto.so.15
(gdb) bt
#0  0xeadc62b4 in _sparcv9_vis1_probe () from /usr/lib/libcrypto.so.15
#1  0xead130c0 in OPENSSL_cpuid_setup () from /usr/lib/libcrypto.so.15

this worries me
a little: the crash appears inside libcrypto, which is  in base system, not a package. Appears a bad cpu detection. This issue could thus affect a lot more  than just gs, or am I wrong?

Riccardo
