Have you seen a recent thread about case insensitive clash of manual
pages that was fixed for 1.* (iirc), but that your new openssl3 import
brought back.  You now install usr/share/man/man3/MD5.3 but then
delete it b/c it's marked as obsolete.  I'm not sure what's gonna
happen on case-insensitive macos, but probably something bad (MD5.3
overwrites md5.3 then gets deleted, probably).

Please, can you take a look, while you are at it?
