Just IMHO - too much non-alphabetic symbols like $ { } [ ] ( ) % @
etc.  makes the program ugly and hard to read. Using plain cp/pax
etc. looks much better provided that these names refer to the good
real programs and this should be garanteed (and it is AFAIU).
