I can't believe that senile belligerence only makes everything feel like a position of strength. Crazy stuff.

The worst part is that the rest of the world has to suffer along with America. Not just the economic damage, or the new permits to export this stuff, but the inflation too. Sony has said that the PS5 will increase in price, both for the US and for Europe. We are being made to absorb some of the Trump tariffs, even though we don't have to pay them.

Misery has been the main export of the US since at least the beginning of the 20th century, the rest of the world should be pretty used to it by now.

Weird fucking take, given the existence of 2 World Wars and a Japanese Empire that knocked over nearly all of South East Asia.
I'd say the main export of the US in the 20th century was peace and stability.
I'll grant you my calculus would be very different for the 21st century, but it's easy to evaluate the US as evil today, when you ignore the history of the past century.

You joined WWI very late in the game when it became apparent the Allies were going to win. WWII, well the Axis declared war on you and while IBM among other companies were profiting and captains of industry such as Henry Ford were cheering Hitler on, then screwing your allies at the end. As for the Japanese Empire, someone named Peary started that ball rolling by forcing trade. Once Japan was dependent, a bunch of tariffs in 1930 putting the Japanese in a very difficult position.

Complete unadulterated bullshit.
At the point of US entry into the war, the Germans were still walking the Russians like dogs, and the Brits were still isolated to their island suffering from daily bombing raids.
In a 1-front war, Germany was going to fuck Russia into the next life, and without the US, there was no 2-front war.
Nice revisionism, though. Does it help you sleep at night? lol

The Ford part is true, undoubtedly, because he was virulently antisemitic- but also ended up producing a good part of th

Are you mixing up wars? Wasn't much bombing of the UK in WWI. The Russians were in rough shape it is true and would soon quit. Meanwhile the Brits were doing fairly well with their blockades of the Axis, particularly Germany which needed fuel and food. Much of the western front was basically a stalemate though the new invention, code named the tank, was starting to help.

Germany simply neutralized Russia by helping a chap named Lenin into the country. Though the revolutions were basically taking Russia out o

No, still have problems with fascists threatening war. Especially ones like you who was likely educated by parroting the pledge of allegiance every day in school, exposed to the Hollywood version of history and basically indoctrinated on how great America is supposed to be.
Don't we all.
I'm threatening no war. I abhor war. But let's be real- if there were one, wherever you are right now- you'd lose. We'd fuck you sideways, and six ways from Sunday. That is a kind of Greatness, period.
While Jingoism is annoying, so is the strange fucking denial of the US' position in the world.
There was a lot more companies then IBM involved with trading with Nazi Germany. Been a long time since I read up on it and have mostly forgot a lot of it. Of course up until '38 or so, Hitler was considered a hero in some circles for the economic revival of Germany. Even made Time magazine as man of the year or such.
Indeed- I didn't debate that. The Nazis weren't the enemies of the US until they were.
Fascism was never a major popularity here, but it did have limited popularity. Hell, that's the case for Britain to

Oh, you'd easily win stage 1 of the war. Then you have 100's of thousands (0.25% of the population) of pissed of armed people willing to go guerrilla. People that blend in after a strike. Could get messy and the costs may be higher then imagined. Best to avoid the whole thing. America does not have a good record when it comes to later stages of wars.

Perhaps, though America is a pretty divided country. Who knows, could be the catalyst for the break up of the country. For example the west coast of N. America

I'll also offer you this as an olive branch.
Byfar, in my view, the most tragic fucking thing that orange baffoon has done is fucked up our relationship with Canada.
I live in Seattle, and there are a lot of Canadians here. My best friend is married to one. Canada has been the US' most reliable ally, basically for as long as the US has bothered with things like "allies".
You guys deserve better than that piece of shit talking down to you like you're not even a Sovereign Nation, and I don't think I've been more ashamed of my country in my lifetime over that shit.
