I was evaluating AI coding assistants for my company a while ago, and of course Claude Code was on my shortlist. But after discussing Anthropic's collaborating with the fascist US regime, our company decided to practice economic withdrawal and take our money to a European supplier.

Because it involves Israel. And saying anything remotely bad about Israel gets someone labeled as an anti semite. Israel funds this guy to entrap people so Israel can pull strings. Israel gives tens of millions of dollars to US politicians and in return they get the largest foreign funding.

What was the point of the journal log system? We had stable tools for decades for manipulating and managing text logs. So systemd made the logs binary and then re-invented all the same tools but slightly different. Same as with ifconfig. Worked great for decades and now it’s replaced with “ip” and a different syntax. What was gained?
