Multimedia: JavaHMO 1.1 - First Release
This is the first public release of the JavaHMO 1.1, the Java version of the media server for the TiVo Home Media Option. The server allows you to view images and play mp3 files stored on your PC, using the TiVo interface on your TV. The Java server goes beyond the capabilities of the desktop software provided by TiVo, by allowing internet content to be viewed on your TV.

Database: Hibernate 2.1
Hibernate 2.1 is intended to be completely backward compatible with Hibernate 2.0.x. In addition to a number of bugfixes, 2.1 introduces support for native SQL queries, a powerful Query by Criteria and Query by Example API and improvements to the Hibernate Query Language. A new, fully pluggable second-level cache framework provides built in support for the JGroups-based JBossCache clustered cache, EHCache, SwarmCache and OpenSymphony's OSCache (Tangosol Coherence may also be used with Hibernate 2.1). A number or new performance-enhancing features were added, including batch-loading, more aggressive second-level cache utilization and a brand new query result set cache.

Reporting: JMP 0.37
Fixed the freeze-button to show different texts depending on mode. Added missing sort for variable name in object dump window. Added owned objects statistics, a window that shows how many objects are reachable from a given object.

Application Servers: JBoss 3.2.3
Includes bugfixes plus a new, integrated Tomcat 5.0.16 stable release bundled as a service archive (SAR) under docs/examples (Tomcat 4.1.29 as the default Web container).

Software Development: Kaffe 1.1.3
As this is a development release, it is essentially a snapshot of what's happening in CVS, with limited testing. Even though this is not a production release, it contains a lot of improvements over 1.0.7, which was release over half a year ago. I anticipate that most
people will have less trouble with this release.

Reporting: OpenReports 0.5.1
OpenReports 0.5.1 includes a number of bug fixes and improved documentation. A few new features such as report logging and automatic parameters have also been added, and OpenReports is now using WebWork 2.

Added indexing and searching with lucene 1.3-rc3

Adding property SearchIndexDirPath= to properties file turns indexing on or off.

Indexing for preexisting files will get created automatically.

Left to do: do not handle unindexing a msg that gets deleted.

deleting a xxx-index directory will get it automatically recreated.

Software Development: XPlanner 0.5.2
