The Register reports that Israeli Ministry of Commerce has suspended all government contracts with Microsoft, and plans to uphold the ban at least through 2004.                                                                                                                                                                        Linux sales in Japan for 2003 totaled 2.3 billion yen, a 37.5% increase from 2002.                                                                                                                                                                        Disney, DreamWorks, Pixar, and other Hollywood entities have adopted Linux as the operating system on their desktop rendering computers.
