Displaying a bibliography (a reference to all sources we quoted and was inspired by) on our home page bottom.
Why: Our goal is to serve comprehensive & exhaustive content by collecting and curating the best bloggers, books and articles. Without a bibliography, one might wonder whether the content is subjective. Because the bibliography will show that the best blogs, companies and books are cited - the greater he will trust our repo
What: Show a nice looking list of books, blogs & bloggers & tools we use. It should contain all the industry thought leaders. This is also our opportunity to realize that we missed some imported source (e.g. popular book) and borrow some content from it to provide our readers with additional important info
How:
- Look & feel - Open a branch, create the bibliography list with dummy content to discuss the UI of it
- Top rated content - Discover the leading books, bloggers and articles using rating tools (e.g. Google, Google trends, Amazon.com, etc)
- Extract all the sources we used - Add to the bibiliography all the books, bloggers and articles that were quoted
- Identify missing sources - By comparing 2&3 we can identify great sources that were not covered
- Enrich our content!: Get content from missing sources - Quote great blogs, ask book authors to provide quotes/diagrams that are related to one of our best practice, etc.
