@dopplershift is talking about a plot in the style of the XKCD comics (https://xkcd.com). Matplotlib has such an example (https://matplotlib.org/gallery/showcase/xkcd.html#sphx-glr-gallery-showcase-xkcd-py), but we're shooting for a meteorologically relevant example.
