My personal preference is RTD, and that's what I'll be working with for now, and keeping subscribers to this issue updated (of course), but it isn't stuck in stone, and can be adjusted later on.

Describe the issue
I have set GLOBAL_LOGIN_REQUIRED to TRUE and after that, every request to the API gets a redirect to the login page as response:

Note: Unnecessary use of -X or --request, GET is already inferred.
