Love in the Time of Cholera
By Rated R; Now In TheatersFriday, June 01, 2007
Daniel Daza / New Line
Love in the Time of Choldera
What's the worst movie ever made from a great novel? This risible version of Gabriel Garcia Marquez's epic romance is a serious contender. Javier Bardem moons and mewls as a man waiting a lifetime for his beloved (pretty Giovanna Mezzogiorno). All the tears shed will be matched by the audience's harsh giggles. Skip the film; reread the book.
Grade: D
