Ellie Harrison is an ecologist and journalist. She has worked for the BBC on shows such as The One Show,[1] Michaela's Wild Challenge,[2] Wild About Your Garden,[1][2] and Country Tracks, and for the Discovery ChannelonDaily Planet.

She grew up in rural Gloucestershire, living off the land.[3] At various times she worked in Zimbabwe, camped by and canoed on Lake Kariba and visited both Canada and Zimbabwe to observe wildlife before going to university.

She has a BA from King's College, London, where she studied Geography and Ecology, graduating in 2000.
