    History

    edit

The terminus was built to decongest the overcrowded Maharana Pratap Interstate Bus Terminus, which was unable to bear the increasing traffic. The construction of a new ₹ 80-crore terminus complex began in March of 1996,[1] and it was opened to the public in January 2005. Later, it was further redeveloped to handle the increased volume of passengers.
