how thiophene is separated from benzene?—Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.78.234.246 (talkcontribs)

I don't know if I understand your question in this context. Benzothiophene is a compound, which cannot be separated into benzene and thiophene. It does contain a both a benzene ring and a thiophene ring, but these are bound together. If you mean how to separate a mixture of benzene and thiophene, one would use normally use distillation for that, though other separation methods can be applied also. Hope this helps. --Dirk Beetstra T C 18:15, 20 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
