First, I think they did that today, May 24th, not on the 5th. At least that's the first time I noticed it, and I use google a lot.
 
Second, leftest should probably be spelled leftist.
 
Third, did you mean to say her leftist positions appeal to the company's ideals?
 
Finally, is it perjorative (or just descriptive) to brand her a "leftist"? These days that's becoming like accusing someone of being a cattle mutilator.
