Speedy deletion nomination of FV Dudenhofen

Hello MintyFresh201,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Ratnahastin, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged an article that you started, FV Dudenhofen, for deletion, because there's already a page about that topic at Draft:FV_Dudenhofen. Please don't be discouraged; we appreciate your effort in creating new articles. To avoid this in the future, consider using the search function to find pages that already cover what you want to write about.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.

For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Ratnahastin}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into FV Dudenhofen. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you.   Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at FV Dudenhofen, you may be blocked from editing. You were already warned once about copying a draft into article space without attribution to its originator. Robert McClenon (talk) 23:41, 11 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your contributions to SC Spelle-Venhaus. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has no sources. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

SC Blau-Weiß Papenburg moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, SC Blau-Weiß Papenburg, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Speedy deletion nomination of Palm Ridge

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Palm Ridge requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the helporreference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nominationbyvisiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. @MintyFresh201 and CycloneYoris: From my speedy deletion edit summary: "This could be about a place in South Africa, a Roblox game, an American football junior competition, or perhaps something quite different. I see no good reason to WP:DRAFTIFY this." MintyFresh201, I see you are new here, but could you possibly identify what this was intended to be about? Shirt58 (talk) 🦘 09:14, 6 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Your submission at Articles for creation: Blau-Weiß Brühl (May 6)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by KylieTastic were:
This draft's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article. In summary, the draft needs multiple published sources that are:
  • reliable
  • secondary
  • strictly independent of the subject
  • Make sure you add references that meet all four of these criteria before resubmitting. Learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue. If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia. Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

    Proposed deletionofBFC Columbia 1896 Berlin

    Hello, MintyFresh201

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username ToadetteEdit, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, BFC Columbia 1896 Berlin, for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to contest the deletion:

    1. Edit the page
    2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
    3. Click the Publish changes button.

If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|ToadetteEdit}}. And remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. Thanks!

    Transfermarkt

Since much of its content is user-edited, Transfermarkt is not considered a reliable source. Please do not cite the website in articles. Thank you. Sir Sputnik (talk) 16:05, 7 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content, as you did at TSV Kornburg, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. As I've already explained to you, Transfermarkt is not considered a reliable source. Knowingly citing an unreliable source is disruptive editing. Please don't do that again. Sir Sputnik (talk) 21:30, 7 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Alright, no problem, however, it was just the Transfermarkt link that was unreliable correct? MintyFresh201 (talk) 02:35, 8 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
See Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/Links for a more detailed break of what sources are and are not considered reliable in this subject area. Sir Sputnik (talk) 14:10, 8 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
However, on Transfermarkt, users must have their changes reviewed, similar to submitting a draft on Wikipedia. Therefore the information is credible as it is reviewed by trustworthy sources MintyFresh201 (talk) 22:01, 8 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

    Quality of your articles

Hi MintyFresh201. I appreciate the intention of creating articles of notable football clubs. However, many of your articles have been moved to draftspace because they lacked sources that would indicate notability and yet, you are still creating articles like SV Victoria Seelow that have zero WP:SIGCOV and very few WP:inline citations. Please slow down and familiarise yourself with Wikipedia's WP:Notability requirements. Robby.is.on (talk) 10:53, 9 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

I just noticed that SV Victoria Seelow had also been moved to draftspace and then ten minutes later you recreated it. The correct procedure is to edit the article in draftspace and then resubmit the article.
Be aware that the three sources you added do not indicate significant coverage, which is required for notability: the first reference is the club's website, the second and third references are database entries. We would need newspaper articles or books covering the football club to demonstrate notability. Robby.is.on (talk) 14:54, 9 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Alright, I will ensure to take my time when writing articles.
    Appreciate it,

    Mirrors

Thanks for contributing to the article FSV_Barleben. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that material must be verifiable and attributed to reliable sources. You have recently used citations which copied, or mirrored, material from Wikipedia. This leads to a circular reference and is not acceptable. Most mirrors are clearly labeled as such, but some are in violation of our license and do not provide the correct attribution. Please help by adding alternate sources to the article you edited! If you need any help or clarification, you can look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia or ask at Wikipedia:New contributors' help page, or just ask me. Thank you. Note: In this edit, you added a link to 'en-academic'. In this one you added a reference to 'wikiwand'. Both very clearly note that the source of their material is Wikipedia. Additionally, please do not remove maintenace tags from articles until you've actually addressed the problem. Sam Kuru (talk) 00:14, 10 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Mirrors, again

I think my prior warnings here were absolutely clear. You've added the exact same mirror again here, along with a blog source. You've also removed maintenance tags without addressing the concerns they noted. Please consider this a final warning - if you knowingly use sources that are fake again, this account will be disabled. Sam Kuru (talk) 23:58, 15 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

    Hello Sam Kuru,
I know you have added a topic on my talk page. I now understand the part where you mentioned that I "removed maintenance tags without addressing the concerns they noted." However, based on my research, the sources I use when I create articles is very much credible as far as I know. Is there anything else I need to know when creating or editing articles.
    Kind Regards,

The material at 'en-academic.com' is an early copy of our article at Founding Clubs of the DFB. It literally starts with a "Wikipedia" in the header and ends with a credit to "Wikipedia Foundation 2010". It is a word-for-word copy of our article as it existed in 2010, along with the Wikipedia mark-up and a old broken link at the bottom. I have no idea how you could possibly evaluate that as a "very much credible" source. Never mind that I explained this to you previously; one would think that might be a clue that the source is junk. Sam Kuru (talk) 02:08, 16 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Okay, that really helps clarify things.
    Thank you,
    Have a blessed day!

    Pending changes reviewer

Hi MintyFresh201. I noticed you added a box to your userpage that says "This user has pending changes reviewer rights on the English Wikipedia." You don't seem to have this right, which is a special permission given out by administrators after a request. Was this just a misunderstanding? If so, I'd suggest removing the box so as not to confuse other users. Extraordinary Writ (talk) 05:13, 23 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Okay, I think this was just a misunderstanding. I apologize for any confusion I have caused.

Hello, how are you? While I understand that this article is lacking more references, isn’t it still acceptable for the article to be considered a stub and still be allowed in mainspace?
    Regards,

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Spvg Wesseling-Urfeld, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Women's football. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

@MintyFresh201, you moved the article to the main space again without addressing any of the issues. You keep move warring despite my and other editor's requests to improve these articles. You are not providing any edit summaries. Combined with the notice issue above. Why are you editing like this? --Classicwiki (talk) If you reply here, please ping me. 23:31, 12 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Sorry for the confusion. My understanding was that I had to add some more sources and could then move the article back to mainspace. --MintyFresh201 (talk) 23:32, 12 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
You are barely adding any sources that establish notability. Just because the team is mentioned somewhere does not mean that it is a reliable source for notability. I want to be generous, but you have had a litany of issues and your pattern of problematic editing continues. Your references are usually bare URLs and you often repeat them without condensing. Take a look at this talk page and the talk page of your other accounts. There is a consistent theme.
Look at the move you just made for FC Barcelona-Paris Saint-Germain F.C. Rivalry. It is problematic and I will be moving that article back to draft.
Many editors are expecting for you to make the improvements and submit the article for review through the normal AFC process.
    I highly recommend you review:
I believe I will need to make an ANI report soon.

I'm sorry, please assume good faith. I am just trying to help and contribute to Wikipedia and am not trying to violate any policy. I don't really understand what I am doing wrong. I have tried to go through all my contributions and use the CitationBot to fix the bare urls. I have tried to cite reliable sources to establish notability. Please reconsider before reporting me.
    Best,
    MintyFresh201 (talk) 00:20, 13 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
I appreciate that you are trying to expand Wikipedia's coverage of football and I recognize that you have made some good edits. I am trying to assume good faith, but you are not leaving much room. You have had multiple accounts, claimed user rights that you did not have, and have had ~30 articles moved to draft/nominated for deletion in just 45-ish days (+all the other ones from your other accounts). This is not normal pattern in my experience.
You say you do not understand what you are doing wrong, then I recommend you slow down and look to just improve your editing. Please read through some of the policies/guidelines I linked to above and at Wikipedia:WikiProject Football. Quality editing is better than quantity editing.
Because of this, when creating articles or attempting to move articles with drafts, I highly recommend you go through the AFC process (When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.) Stop immediately moving articles back to mainspace when other editors have moved them to the draft space, without substantial improvement.
You should not rely on CitationBot or any other bot to scan and improve your editing/referencing. Try to follow the recommended formats at Wikipedia:Citing sources.
Would you like a mentor (not me) to help you improve your editing experience? Consider finding an editor at the mentorship adoptee's areaorWikipedia:WikiProject Football that will help you with your articles. Maybe User:Perfect4th has availability if you ask.
I am leaving this issue here for the moment. --Classicwiki (talk) If you reply here, please ping me. 01:23, 13 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Okay, I very much appreciate your help and insight. Thank you for your patience with me. I will look into the resources you have informed me about.
