: Roberthooke003 You can use Cite book to cite that book in an article. That WP shortcut you link appears to be some user's essay. RudolfRed (talk) 02:24, 22 June 2024 (UTC)
::So can I use the source in my article? Is that not a WP:NOTRS, is it a reliable source? How can I check weather it's reliable or not? Roberthooke003 (talk) 02:30, 22 June 2024 (UTC)
:::Hello. The reliable source noticeboard is the best place to ask about reliability of sources. Note that the reliability of a source depends on many factors, including precisely what information the source is being used to support. A book from a reputable publisher more than a hundred years ago may be a very good source for some things, but I would be dubious about what an English (presumably) writer in the 1920s had to say about sensitive cultural issues in seventeenth century India. Can you specify the section or citation number, please, IP editor? Mike Turnbull (talk) 14:23, 22 June 2024 (UTC)

Saddle Tramp vs Cowboy
Line 1,185 ⟶ 1,187:

:That seems like a reasonable course of action. Since the definition of "saddle tramp" would be the primary topic, the existing disambiguation page can be defined as such with the (disambiguation) after it. Same logic is defined at WP:D2D. :@Maineartists Note that Wiktionary does have an entry for wikt:saddle tramp with a definition agreeing with you. Hence you could use that on DAB pages and elsewhere. *User:EPIC, how's your day going? Drmies (talk) 16:53, 22 June 2024 (UTC)
* Thanks for the ping. To answer Drmies, I'm doing well and my day is going the same. As for the issues with the global block, which block are you affected by? The /32 range you have specified is not globally blocked, but I see two /64 ranges which I blocked four days ago. I don't know which of them, but in either case, if you are still affected, please email us at stewards with the relevant information and we will assist you. Regarding the enwikisource block, the block was placed on a large range, meaning it can be expected that it will affect some innocent users. I've tried force creating a local account for you, since the block only affects anonymous users, meaning you should be able to log in and edit there if you want to. EPIC (talk) 17:31, 22 June 2024 (UTC)

Jacksonville Int'l Airport sourcing issue
Hello. Go to above article, scroll down to statistics, then Annual traffic, reference #38. It will not go to the pdf, however, right above Annual traffic, in Statistics, Passenger traffic, click reference #37, goes to the exact PDF that I want. I typed in the url exactly the way it is from that section but it doesnt link up to it. Hope you can fix it. Thanks and have a good day.Theairportman33531 (talk) 16:54, 22 June 2024 (UTC)

:@Theairportman33531 Both those refs are giving me 404 errors. I think you have the URLs wrong as I can find the same info at the Internet archive. Note lack of final "s" and presence of "www". If the two references you want to use are to the same .pdf, then you should use one named reference . Mike Turnbull (talk) 17:22, 22 June 2024 (UTC)

I used the url from the Internet Archive and both now go to the PDF that I want. Thanks for the lead. Have a good day.Theairportman33531 (talk) 17:45, 22 June 2024 (UTC)

Question about how articles are written
Hello,

Should the articles be written in the passive or active voice..in terms of grammar? Is there some sort of policy that covers this information? Normanhunter2 (talk) 18:06, 22 June 2024 (UTC)
