This page has been used to list players, who took part in 19th century matches designated first-class by substantial sources, but who do not have WP articles yet though some such players could have articles under titles other than the obvious ones their names might suggest. There will be a crossover with the earliest players in Bobo's lists (List: 1, 2, 3). You can help WP:CRIC by checking and creating articles for players without articles.
All players who made their debuts between 1801 and 1825 now have articles and are included in List of English cricketers (1787–1825).
