History

edit

The Société de Constructions Aéronautiques d'hydravions Lioré-et-Olivier had three factories, located in Argenteuil, Clichy, Hauts-de-Seine and Rochefort, Charente-Maritime.

The company was nationalizedin1936,[1] following which it was merged with Chantiers aéronavals Étienne Romano, Potez, CAMS and SPCA in order to form the Société nationale des constructions aéronautiques du Sud-Est (SNCASE) on 1 February 1937.[2] The factory at Rochefort, however, went into SNCASO.
