Absalom, Absalom! is a novelbyWilliam Faulkner. It is a story about a three families of the South, before during and after the American Civil War. There are many suprising twists and turns in the lives of the Sutpens, the Coldfields, and the Compsons. The story is mostly based upon Thomas Sutpen: how he began, the success he achieved, and his eventual ruin.
