Bukit Batok Nature Park is a 36 Ha park in Singapore.[1] It is suitable for a peaceful walk as the serene ambiance of the park brings out an ideal atmosphere. A picturesque pond situated at the foot of a high cliff wall near the entrance of the park, runs deep and still - a relic from the mining days of the region.

The park was developed on an abandoned quarry site in 1988. The undulating terrain and meandering footpaths through the lush secondary forest lead to look-out points reaching more than 10 stories high.

The undulating terrain and serene ambiance of the park will attract joggers and hikers.

During World War ll, Lorong Sesuai site was selected by the Japanese as a memorial for the soldiers who died. The two pillars and 120 concrete steps leading to a transmission tower are the only remains. The significance and meaning of the location is conveyed to visitors via a memorial plaque that lies at the foot of the stairs.

Visitors can also enjoy activities including bird watching and foot reflexology.

Getting there

Take bus Services 61, 66, 157, 178, 852 and 985 and alight along Bukit Batok Ave 6. For those who are driving, carparks are also available at Bukit Batok East Ave 2.
