Cărpiniș (Hungarian: Gyertyámos) is a communeinTimiș County, Romania. It is composed of two villages, Cărpiniș and Iecea Mică (Kisjécsa). It also included Iecea Mare village until it was split off to form a separate commune in 2004.

InGerman, it is known as GertianoschorGertjanosch, in HungarianasGyertyámos, and in Serbian as Карпиниш / Karpiniš.
