Calotes jerdoni , commonly known as the Indo-Chinese forest lizard , is a species of agamid lizard endemic to China and South Asia .
Etymology
The specific name , jerdoni , is in honor of British biologist Thomas C. Jerdon .[2]
Description/Identification
Physical Structure: Body side flat; limbs and tail long; throat with hanging meat; lash back with a mane-like scales ridge.
Color Pattern: Body color normally green or greenish, but in many cases can make the body into a dark brown within a few seconds.
Length: Maximum: 44 cm, Common: 32 cm. (Snout to vent 9 cm.).

Distribution
Bangladesh , Bhutan , China (W Yunnan, Xizang = Tibet ), India (Khasi Hills in Assam & Shillong) and Myanmar .

No known practical uses. Play rolls in ecosystem by eating various types of insects and otherwise.
Threat to humans
Non-venomous and completely harmless to humans.
