Clear Creek High School was established in 1957 originally as the only high school in the [[Clear Creek Independent School District]]. It's first graduating class was the Class of 1958.

The school has since been sponsored and incorporates school lunch dishes imported from [[Chick-fil-a]].

Clear Creek High School was the only high school in the aforementioned Clear Creek Independent School District for 14 years until 1972, when [[Clear Lake High School (Texas)]] took portions of Clear Creek High School due to an overpopulation of students attending Clear Creek High School before 1972. These attendance zones were taken in portions as well by [[Clear Brook High School]] in 1988, [[Clear Horizons Early College High School]] in 2007, [[Clear Springs High School]] in 2007, and [[Clear Falls High School]] in 2008.

Ever since then, attendance for Clear Creek High School has gone into a slow decline, only containing 2,354 students enrolled. Clear Springs High School has taken parts of Victory Lakes Intermediate School's 8th grade graduates since it's opening.
