Climate action (orclimate change action) refers to a range of activities, mechanisms, policy instruments, and so forth that aims at reducing the severity of human-induced climate change and its impacts. The goal of climate action is to restrict global warming to far below two degrees Celsius compared to pre-industrial levels, as defined in the Paris Agreement. "More climate action" is a central demand of the climate movement.[1] Climate inaction is the absence of climate action.
