The St. Bonaventure Cathedral[1] (Spanish: Catedral de San Buenaventura)[2] Also Cuautitlán Cathedral[3] Is a Catholic temple, part of the convent of the same name in the Municipality of Cuautitlán, State of Mexico. It was designated as a cathedral on February 5, 1979 with the erection of the diocese of Cuautitlán.

The complex is named after St. Bonaventure (San Buenaventura) by the saint on the day of the first visit of the first friars in 1524, but it is until 1532 when the planned construction of what was the first Franciscan monastery and temple began in Cuautitlán, being Fray Alonso de Herrera, the first guardian and Fray Alonso de Guadalupe the first convent.

The Cathedral of Cuautitlán is a temple of Latin Cross, of high proportions, a ship with cruise of baroque columns.
