David Michael Stoupakis is a New York based surrealist/gothic artist. He is primarily a painter; he has also done artwork for Korn's album See You on the Other Side and Haloburn's debut album. The themes of his work include death, life, God, decay, rebirth, the juxtaposition of the impossible with the unreal and the barely possible.

David was born on the 26th of July, 1974, in Brighton, Massachusetts to a Greek-Italian, first generation American construction foreman George Stoupakis and his Cape-Briton Island Nova Scotia wife Anne. David was born premature with numerous complications at birth. By the first grade of school David was found to have a severe learning disability.

David's partner is the popular model and performance artist Aprella. He has stated that she is his muse and they have been together for over 8 years.
