In the fall of 1956 , the Huilong junior high school was established at the present Qidong 502 Renmin Road （启东人民路502号）. For more than half a century , the school had changed it's address and mane many times . In 1989, the town was constructed ,and the school changed it's mane which called The Huilong High School until today . In the spring of 2000 , the new campus was prepared to construct ,and it was completed in august the same year . The school was appraised first one of the key middle schools in Nantong （南通）in 1997 , the key high school in Jiiangsu Province（江苏省） in 2001 , first three stars school in Jiangsu Province in march of 2004 . The school's floor space is totally 120727 square metres , the area of structures is 54699 square metres . Now , the school has about 66 high school classes , and almost 3292 students and more than 297 teachers .
