The Katara is a spicy sauce typically made in the Venezuelan Amazons. Made by the natives with chilli and giant (Bachaco - Atta laevigata) bottom. Very aphrodisiac and with a granulated texture, its spicy taste comes from the poison used by the ant to defend itself.
