The Katara is a spicy sauce typically made in the [[Venezuelan Amazon]]. Made by the natives with [[chilli pepper]] and giant (Bachaco – [[Atta laevigata]]) bottom. Very aphrodisiac and with a granulated texture, its spicy taste comes from the poison used by the ant to defend itself.
