Laura A. Potter is a United States Army lieutenant general who has served as the 58th director of the Army Staff since January 5, 2024. She most recently served as the deputy chief of staff for intelligence (G-2) of the United States Army from 2020 to 2024. Previously, she was the commanding general of the United States Army Intelligence Center of Excellence.[1][2][3][4]
In May 2023, Potter was nominated for reappointment as a lieutenant general with assignment as director of the Army Staff.[5][6]
