Lucia Lucas is a British transgender baritone.[1] She made history when, in October 2019, it was announced that she would become the first transgender singer to perform with the English National Opera in London. The performance, on 5 October 2019, would see her playing Public Opinion in Orpheus in the Underworld at the London Coliseum.[2]
