The Spiral Galaxy M96 (also known as Messier Object 96, Messier 96, M96, or NGC 3368) is a spiral galaxy in the Leo constellation. It was discovered by Pierre Méchainin1781. M96 is the brightest member of the M96 group of galaxies, which is sometimes known as the Leo I group.
