The news media is a term that includes print media (newspapers, magazines); broadcast media (radio stations, television stations, television networks), and often Internet-based media (World Wide Web pages, weblogs). Usually the term is used to denote the (mathematical) set of all working journalists and is often used by persons who would claim that the product of most journalists, for example of journalists who work for large media corporations, or who are based in New York CityorWashington, D.C., reflects a liberal (orconservative), bias.

See also mass media.
