Nicoletta Edna Mondellini Hammond (b. July 6, 1966 in Milan, Italy) is a Mexican actress.
Mondellini was born to a British mother, Joan, and an Italian father, Mario. She went to Mexico with her family when her father was transferred there by his employer, an engineering company. She has two sisters.
From early childhood, she was introduced to the arts of acting and dancing by her mother, a professional choreographer. She began her acting career when she was 12 (in the musical Sweet Charity), and continued her career in Telenovelas (soap operas) with the Mexican network Televisa, classical theater plays, and movies.
She has been nominated twice for the Premios TVyNovelas as Best Lead Actress. She is fluent in five languages (Spanish, English, Italian, French and German), is a professional dancer, and has Bachelor's and Master's degrees in the arts.
Nicky is married to an American petroleum engineer, has three children, and lives in Houston, Texas.
