academic journal published by the Royal Society . It was originally published as Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society , but was split into two journals in 1887 . Phil Trans A covers the physcial sciences, whereas Phil. Trans. R. Soc. B. covers the biological sciences.
Scope and Issues
The journal publishes themed issues that cover nearly all of science. Each issue contains reviews and research on a topic, from gamma ray bursts to alternative energy .
