Gautam Rathore is an exceptional employee under Maheshwari Masala company. He is married to Saraswati, his supporting wife that has helped him reach the heights in his career, and father to twin daughters Jhanvi and Yamini. Unbeknownst to the happy family, Rajeshwari Maheshwari and Digvijay Maheshwari’s evil eyes fall on them.
For several generations, the company’s power had stayed with the men of the Maheshwari family. However, in the year 2005, the Board of Directors select Gautam as the Chairman instead of Digvijay. Not only that, but Saraswati is also selected to lead the company as the first female associate. Rajeshwari and Digvijay are furious about this humiliation. Hence, Digvijay plans to get the Rathore family killed through Kamal.
The Rathore family get into a car accident. Gautam dies on the spot, but Saraswati, Jhanvi and Yamini survive. Jhanvi is rescued by a couple, who overhear that the accident was planned. Yamini is rescued by a thief named Mayuri. Few days later, Dayal Singh, the truck driver who hit the car, is arrested. Saraswati is sure that he was paid off by someone to commit the accident. However, Dayal Singh lies and says that he was drunk driving and no one else is at fault.
