Satun (Thai: สตูล) is a town (thesaban mueang) in southern Thailand, capital of the Satun Province. It covers the whole tambon Phiman of Mueang Satun district. As of 2005 it has a population of 21,498.
Satun is connected to Malaysian Langkawi island by direct ferry service.
Satun is Thailand's sole landing point for the SEA-ME-WE 3 (Southeast Asia, Middle East and Western Europe) optical submarine telecommunications cable linking those regions.
